9 to 5 is a 1980 comedy directed by Colin Higgins, starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton in her film debut. Three office workers take revenge on their sexist and autocratic boss.
We watched it last night with the kids. Such a well written movie. It’s of course about women’s liberation and sexism in the workplace, but at the same time it’s so funny. Kids loved it, and the whole story comes together so well.
It’s amazing to see Dolly Parton so young and always in character. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin carry the whole story though.
